7. Judging and selection
7.1. The Promotion is a game of skill. 7.2. If fewer than five valid entries are received, or if the Promoter determines that fewer than five entries satisfy the entry requirements and judging criteria, the Promoter may select such lesser number of eligible finalist entries as it considers appropriate. The public vote will then proceed as set out below using those finalist entries only. If no valid entries are received, or if the Promoter determines that no entry sufficiently satisfies the entry requirements or judging criteria, the Promoter may choose not to award the Grand Prize.
7.3. The winning entry will be determined by public vote. Voting to be open to the general public via freyas.co.nz where voters may select one of the five finalists to cast their vote for. The winning entry will be determined by which entry receives the highest number of votes. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
7.4. Voting will open at 06:00AM NZT on Monday 28 September 2026 and close at 11:59PM NZT on Sunday 11 October 2026 (“Voting Period”). Votes received outside the Voting Period will not be counted.
7.5. Each person may vote once during the Voting Period, unless the Promoter states otherwise on the voting page. The Promoter may require voters to provide reasonable information, such as an email address or other verification details, to validate votes and administer the Promotion.
7.6. The Promoter may, in its reasonable discretion, disallow, remove or disregard any vote that it considers to be incomplete, invalid, duplicated, generated by automated means, submitted using false or misleading details, obtained through vote buying, incentives, undue influence or other manipulation, or otherwise submitted other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Promotion.
7.7. The Promoter is not responsible for any vote that is not received, recorded or counted due to technical error, network or website failure, unauthorised intervention, or any other reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
7.8. If two or more finalist entries receive the same highest number of valid votes, the tied entry that received the higher initial judging score from Al Brown will be deemed the winning entry. If a tie remains, the Promoter will determine the winner by applying the judging criteria in clause 6.1 to the tied entries.
7.9. The Promoter’s records of valid votes received during the Voting Period will be final and conclusive, subject to any manifest error.
7.10. The winner will be determined and notified within 5 business days after the Voting Period closes.
